Routine Vision Exams:
Most of us get our teeth checked every six months - why expect less for your sight? Plus, regular checkups and exams are covered by most insurance plans - so what are you waiting for? At the end of each exam patients will have a prescription for glasses and/or contacts which expires exactly one year after the prescribed date. Don't forget to take advantage of our Optical Coherence Tomography machine which takes a picture of all 10 layers of a patient's retina and can detect many common and uncommon eye diseases such as the early stages Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and cataracts.
Glaucoma Checks / Follow-ups:
Here at Better Vision we spare no expense when it comes to ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care. Our glaucoma test includes gathering a patient's ocular pressures, visual field testing, and the gathering of highly detailed pictures of the optic nerve to monitor any changes that may occur.
Macular Degeneration check / follow-up
For our Macular Degeneration patients we have specialized testing including a specific macular visual field test and deep scan photos of the macula. We also have a variety of products that are clinically proven to help rebuild and maximize the pigment layer of the macula, enhancing visual performance.
Diabetic Exams
Diabetic Retinopathy is an eye condition that can cause vision loss and blindness in people who have diabetes. Most patients will not experience symptoms in the early stages of the disease, but diabetic retinopathy is one of the leading causes of blindness. Our diabetic exams are the most thorough out of all our testing, we'll check your pressures, your visual acuity, visual fields, as well as 20 different pictures of the retina to ensure the patient receives the best possible care.
Cataract Evaluations

During your cataract evaluation you'll get pictures taken of your cornea and subjected to get your best visual acuity using special testing that "blasts through" the cataract to let us know how badly the cataract is affecting your vision.
Dry Eye Evaluation
Dry eye disease is is an often seen condition that occurs when a patients tears aren't able to provide enough lubrication for your eyes. Luckily for patients affected by this, there are treatment plans to help manage this condition.
